How to Increase Innovation Agility within Your Organization through Intrapreneurship?

December 3, 2018 at 9:00-11:00 EET

A central concern for organizations is how to stay innovative in the digital age.

Innovation has to be a company-wide endeavor, supported by systems, structures and company culture that nurtures transformative ideas and products. Companies need to institutionalize innovation rather than expect it to simply flow forth from intrapreneurs operating within existing structures.

“Research shows that the majority of managers in large, established organizations have trouble staying innovative, particularly when faced with technology disruptions,” points out Dr. Riitta Katila, Professor of Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University. “Everybody likes to plan for success, but also consider key areas in which your team is likely to fail. Help your team of experts to be agile by developing a strategy to fail fast, and learn from it,” she emphasizes.

You are warmly welcome to join the Accelerating Innovation within Corporations event to hear how to increase innovation agility within your organization through intrapreneurship. We will approach the theme by discussing the Stora Enso Accelerator program and learn how collaboration between industry and academia has been fueling the innovation ecosystem in Silicon Valley. Please refer to the program description below to learn more about the content of the event.
