"With this scholarship, we want to support an expert who strives for greater societal impact in their work. Participants in the program have an average of 12 years of work experience, so we are looking for an experienced participant," says Katri Koivula, Deputy Director of Aalto EE's degree programs.
The MBA scholarship application is open from May 2 to June 12, 2022. The receiver of the scholarship will be selected in the fall of 2022, and their studies will begin in January 2023. More information about the scholarship criteria and the application form can be found here.
"I've been hugely impressed"
The MBA scholarship holders of previous years are Matleena Aarikallio, Regional Manager for Northern Finland at Startup Refugees Association, who is currently on study leave and Kaisa Kannuksela, Project Coordinator at the Finnish Red Cross.
“I have been hugely impressed by the studies. I especially like the way the modules have been organized. The trainers are talented, you just immerse yourself in your studies. I’ve been also pleased to see how much emphasis is put on personal development,” says Kannuksela who was awarded with the scholarship in fall 2021.
“Applicants who consider the long-term effects of participating in the program and are capable of self-reflection will stand out in the application process. It is worth seeking inspiration from Matleena and Kaisa's profiles, but you can apply for a scholarship from very different backgrounds," says Emma Niemi, Communication Manager at koulutus.fi.
